Bobbie J. Cox – Founder/CEO/COB
Bobbie J. Cox founded Postal Vault in 1998 in pursuit of capturing the ultimate design in residential mail security to ‘brand’ the ‘unbranded’ category of mailboxes. She has been involved in every phase of the company’s strategic growth and heavily spearheaded the design of the Postal Vault product line, which was voted “Most Innovative Product of the Year” by the Darden Graduate School of Business and the Harvard Business School. She has been the focus of a number of news articles on female entrepreneurship and featured as a national speaker. Bobbie is devoted to changing the landscape of America with Postal Vaults. She attended Texas Women’s University with extended studies at SMU. She previously worked in commercial land development constructing shopping centers, hotels and extensively building for Frito-Lay. Bobbie’s negotiating skills became instrumental in landing difficult business contracts. She was involved in governmental permit work, complicated food grade building inspections and contractor management on simultaneous projects in all phases from raw land to furnishings, overseeing the construction of 17 Frito-Lay Distribution Centers. In 1989, Bobbie channeled her skills in a new direction where her creative strategic talent and niche for finding under marketed products could be better utilized. As a result, the birth and development of the original Postal Vault product line rapidly became her focus of attention. Bobbie considers every aspect of her life work to offer a platform for displaying the importance of her faith in her professional, philanthropic and social career. She has hosted Bible studies for years as well as a variety of ministry and missionary events. Bobbie founded Branch to Hope, a nonprofit 501 C-3 foundation, and works extensively in Germany and Mexico to offer an awareness of alternative medical treatments in other parts of the world. Bobbie’s foundation has assisted upwards of 100 patients internationally towards a preventative, improved and extended quality of life. She created a program Branch to heART involving art from the ‘heART’ of a child associated with art therapy, and is implementing this program through Christian charter schools and churches. She is involved with other non-profit organizations to create skilled learning and job placement opportunities through product development. Bobbie is authoring a book, Bouncing Back Moments, to inspire and influence a unique way to un-train our negative habits based on the nine fruits of the spirit from the Bible. Once her diligent effort and continued focus results in Postal Vault’s success, she intends to devote her time to building her vision NOAH, Nation of Advanced Healing. NOAH will bring together brilliant alternative medical minds from around the world in a collaborative environment to work in a philanthropic setting, researching the root causes of cancer and other under-researched diseases through a non-pharmaceutical methodology without profitability or notoriety as the focus. Bobbie is committed to her projects with passionate devotion to create a legacy of making a difference that will leave a lasting imprint in lives she encounters.
